I was really unimpressed with the interior.

The dash looks like something that Scion would of made...and why are we going back to silver again? I thought that went out of style years ago? The limited doesn't look classy at all, and you can't buy one with running boards? How are all of my whores supposed to get up into the car????

AND, whats up with that weird crap that they put all over the windows? What does that do? It looks like I'm tripping acid when driving.

I do like the exterior however but Toyota got it wrong on this one.

What the hell happened to the V8???

They did get it right with the 2010 Land Cruiser, the interior is classy but the V8 gets 13 MPG city LOL.

ONE STEP FORWARD, TWO STEPS BACK TOYOTA !!!!!!!!!

Somewhat agree w some of your points. The interior would be something id check up to people's own individual tastes. However, the lack of the V8 and the XREAS not-standard on the trail edition (my personal choice when i buy one) will keep me in my 03 Sport V8 for a while. It has only 75k on it, so i think it should last a while longer.

I like the interior for the most part. It beats the pants off the fake woodgrain look that seems to be prevalent these days.

What weird crap all over the windows?

My limited has running boards. They are an option that can be added.

What's the point of the V8? The new V6 has more ponies than the old V8 and gets better mileage.

Why is it every 4th gen owner feels like they need to come here and make a thread about how much they hate the new 5th gen... 8 months after it first came out? Do you think you are giving valuable insight that no one knows? We know the interior has lots of hard plastics. We know that it doesn't have full time AWD or a V8. Most of us don't give a damn about those things. I have 270hp, selectable 4WD, bluetooth/ipod integration, and a great looking exterior. Oh yeah, and I'm getting 23mpg over the past 3 tanks of gas.

Can we get a "4th gen owners *****ing about why they'll keep their 4th gen instead of the 5th gen" containment thread?

Would I be received with open arms if I went into the 4th gen forum and said the following: "I just rode in a 4th gen V8. The space in the back seat is totally weak for such an inefficient truck. The V8 is expensive as fork and only makes 260hp. It also totally looks feminine, too."

Didn't your mother's teach you the saying about having nothing nice to say?

Wow, name calling AND you like plastic fake woodgrain. Stay classy.

Pics of the stock running boards can be found on Toyota's website.

Post it then azzhat :nicethread:

What you want to put real woodgrain in a car? LOL

Yeah... you do know that some cars actually have real wood trim right????

As far As running boards search the 5th gen thread they exist and are on the Toyota Website.....

32K actually.. Leather, Sunroof, bluetooth... etc..

:lmao:

32k not bad is that for the limited?

How much did you put down, what are your payments like and how much do you make per year?

I'll prolly buy the 5th gen when they fix the interior dashboard in 2011. :guitar3:

I bought a SR5.

What does it matter how much I put down or make?

I wouldn't hold my breath on an interior remodel on the second year of a new design.
