I have owned my 2006 4Runner for several years now. I have added a full OME suspension, TRD air filter, and Spidertrax wheel spacers. Otherwise it's stock. My only repairs have been light bulb behind HVAC display, and new clamps on front inner CV boots. Just had an oil service at 84,000 miles and the tech found nothing. I looked at the underside myself, no oil leaks, no worn ball joints, etc. I have NEVER owned an American vehicle where I could say the same at 84,000.

Very true. No wonder 4R's keep the resale value.

Last year I bought 2005 T4R SR5 2WD 60K miles for $17200 out the door, while my sister got 2008 Ford Explorer 23K miles with 3 year warranty for $18900 and dealer even threw in leather seats upgrade.

At this year/price/mileage a 4R will not be less than $25k for sure.
