I used OEM spark plug wires. Included all the clips pre-installed so install was a breeze. I used about 16 quarts of ATF when I "flushed" my system.

The standard answer for plugs and wires is stick to stock which is NGK or Denso. I think the NGK wires many of us have used is TE66. As far as plugs, make sure you only use dual electrode plugs.

As far as the ATF, check out the tutorial and documentation reference sticky, there is a link for dropping the pan and flushing. I think just pulling the plug drains about 4 qts. I think the capacity is about 16 qts. Best deal is up to you based on what you want.

I have a set of plugs. I found a set of wires on Autozone's web site that claims they are the same as the factory wires. They are Denso brand.

We're in the same boat! I just changed the plugs and wires two weeks ago. I bought the TE66 wires and NGK BKR5EKB plugs and they fixed the start/idle issue I had been having. This weekend I plan on doing the transmisson filter replacement and flush. I purchased my fluid from Advance Auto Parts. Thanks to the insight of this great forum, I was able to find a coupon code for $40 off a $100 purchase. :bravo: I got the 16 qts. of fluid for $62 and some change. :banana: I'm ordering the filter from the stealership tomorrow.

Yup. Either the stock denso's or the NGK's will be fine for you

Good luck with them tranny flush. I need to do this myself, but I am a bit hesitant to drop the pan. If I can get into a cleaner driveway and had some free time, I'd do it.
