just wondering how many people lift the 2wd runner?

I have a 2wd, never go off-road, but i want it looks better, is that worth to lift a 2wd ?

Only you can answer that question. It's your rig, so I say do what you want with it. If you never plan on taking it off-road, and are only doing it for looks, then I see no sense in investing $1000+ on a legit suspension setup. Just buy a cheap spacer kit and body lift and that will be enough to clear 285's no problem.

I lifted my '07 SE 2WD... but just the front end... I hated the factory rake, even back then. It looked sooooo much better after we did it. Just a quick spacer lift.

Because the lack of the front axles 2wd have a few more tricks to get them lifted higher so some people probably prefer them if they are wanting to take it to the sky just for looks.
For instance you can buy redesigned front steering links that would not work on a 4wd. The adjusted one moves the wheel down in respect to the rest of the suspension if that makes sense.

Your 4Runner, my man, do what you like best. I've got a lifted 4wd and I never go wheeling. I just like the looks. Well, that and the occasional snow storm and curb hopping.

I have a buddy with a 2wd JKU. He's running 37s on a 6" lift. Looks bad ass, but he doesn't need the 4wd.

Most of the people here who lift don't need to or are doing it for looks, so it's got nothing to do with 2wd vs. 4wd haha. :bolt:
