[Stuck CAPS]

Its a 14 inch. It sounds good but in all honesty, as a daily driver, I'd probably prefer the quietness of the stock muffler. I kinda wanna swap the stock one back in but I don't wanna pay another 50-60 bucks for the muffler shop to revert it back to stock. Not yet at least

any way you could take a sound clip or something?

I have a big clunky garage door opener remote attached to my sun visor and I was sick at looking at it.

I was initially going to get one of those auto-dimming rear view mirrors with compass display & homelink buttons, but during my research on it, I saw that HomeLink was an additional option on the overhead console.

I ultimately decided to get the OEM homelink overhead console instead of the homelink mirror direction instead because 1. it was cheaper than the homelink mirror and 2. it was as simple as plug and play where as the homelink mirror required some wiring.

I found a used one on EBay and quickly hopped on it. It came in today and I just got it installed and it literally is as easy as plug and play, install and HomeLink programming took less than 10 minutes total.

I also had LEDs installed into my old one so I had to switch those out too.

I don't know anything about wiring so I tend to avoid any mods like that. maybe one day, but thats not very high on my priority list right now

Did a Hollister run with some Toyota120 members. very nice and hospitable guys! had 3 4th gens, 2 3rd gens, a 1st gen taco, a 2nd gen taco, a tundra, a trooper, and a pathfinder at the meet

really scary getting out of the car to take this picture, car was teetering up and down when i got in and out

Love your ride man. I too have a 2008 Galactic Gray SR5 4x4 and am currently starting a satoshi mod that I would like to look similar to yours and have a couple of questions. Did you make the grill yourself or purchase it? If you made it yourself, where did you get the mesh and did you paint it yourself?

some random user on this site was selling the satoshi for $120 shipped. I couldn't pass up on that deal! I then paid another $80 to get it painted at a shop to color match the car. $200 total for the grill

Conquered the steepest hill at Hollister! Pictures really don't show how steep and large this hill really is in person...

I feel like the hill looks steeper... It looks like it's a 60*+ angle of incline..

Had an itch to upgrade but didn't want to spend much money, so I picked up some Phillips CrystalVision Ultra Xenon Hyper White Bulbs for the 9005 High Beams for $25 on Amazon

I read they were brighter than OEM and I'm really into brighter lights but am too cheap to pick up an LED light bar (for the time being), so I got these instead.

here's a comparison of the two bulbs, OEM on the left, Phillips on the right

and a comparison of the bulbs installed:

can you tell which one is which?...me either! I would've thought the difference was a bit more drastic, but I guess I can't expect much out of $25 bucks...and for the record, the left side is the Phillips and the right side is OEM.

And here's with them both installed:

In hindsight, I probably wouldn't have spent the money for such a minor difference, but it's a bit too late for that now. You live and you learn!
