JVC KW-AVX820 Head unit

Hi guys,
I'm looking at replacing my HU with the JVC KW-AVX820. Fry's Electronics has it on sale now for under $500.
Does anyone have any experience with this unit?
Would you recommend this unit or another one in the same price range?

Is that a Detachable HU?.....if is not...I would go with this other one....

I will never buy another HU that is not face detachable. I can't afford buying good stuff for others to take it anymore.

Yes it is a removable faceplate. I'll check out the one you recommended to since it's much less.

I have the 800 (I think that's the one). I love it. Haven't had any problems with it and you can't beat that price.
