K&N air intake

I just purchased a 05 4r v8 with a after market K&N air intake. is the standard exhaust sufficient or do i need to upgrade it??

your fine, & dont need anything else, unless of course u feel the need to spend 200 + bux. is it the CAI or just the filter? by the way, goodluck with it.

it's the CAI. thanks man, i luv it! I bought a 94 v6 last year with 170k on it and havn't had a single problem with it. still hard to get in the 94 after driving the 05 tho.

Is it loud? Mine is loud as hell with the k&n cai. But I like it.

I also have the K&N CAI on my 04 V8. Love It!!!!! I also have an Magnaflow Exhaust too and I just love the way the exhaust sounds along with the CAI. After reading some of the opinions on this site about exhaust and CAI, I went out and got them both at the same time. I've noticed a difference in more power, definitely peppier.

I am getting AWFUL MPGs even since I put mine on... But only because I have had a lead foot because I like the sound.
