K&N Anyone?

I've used K&N filters on my bike(s) for years. No problems I know of in cars, trucks or bikes.

Which engine do you have?

Guys,
I am interested in getting the K&n Performance / Intake Kit.
Model number is 77-9023KP. It cost like $321.99. Is this worth getting and does it work? Has anyone purchased this intake kit? what were the results? I want to hear some feedback. any feedback will help. thank you!

i got the trueflow xdi intake last week, on my 4.0 and it gave me 2 more mpg, and its a nice build, easy install, had everything.

which part number is that and how much u got it for? was it worth it? how is the sound of the intake?

I've put a K&N in every vehicle I have owned since high school. It makes since that a re-usable filter that is more porus allowing more air flow will help the engine. You're not going to gain huge amounts of horsepower or mpg's...but I don't see how it could hurt. Just my 2 cents

i got the intake for 283 or so, thats with the trueflow10 as cupon code , to use at grimm performance, i think u guys can search that up here on the forum, its exactly like the pic as they have, engine roars at wot, and it sounds good with my vortex cherry bomb, 3inch in and out from the cat. better response.

trueflow xdi intake for v6 4.0 4runner, they give the same instructions as the fj cruiser.

I had the drop in K&N then 2 months later droped the cash on the cold air didn't really notice a differance with the just the drop in but the cold air combined with an exhaust is a pretty nice set up. My 2cents would be save the 34 dollars and just get the cold air

I installed the drop in and found there is a another filter looking piece in the airbox between the filter and the throttle body. Does that stay in or should I cut it out?

need some advices.. is there a difference is the K&n 63 series and the 77 series? does anyone own any of these intake system? does it actually work? is it worth the money? i am looking to get one but dont know which one to get as the 77 series cost more. thanks for any feedback... i found a site with decent prices...
