K&N filtercharger use on Volant?

Do you guys think it would be harmful to use the K&N filtercharger kit on my volant filter? Its been about 15k and Id like to clean out the filter without having to order and wait for the Volant stuff since I already have the KN kit from a previous application. Thanks

I did it and haven't seen or had any problems. When you recharge it just be sure not to apply too much of the red lube because it can clog your mass airflow sensor. THEN, you would have problems

they both use the same de-greaser and oil.

Get the aerosol oil if you can. Make it easier to get an even coat on the filter without over oiling it.
