K&N intake

Hey guys, just installed my K&N intake. There's one part I have no idea what to do with. It has this hole on the side that I see no use for

Its on the tube towards the windshield side. Didn't have instructions, bought it used, any help is appreciated. Thanks.

im gonna go outside and look at mine, but I'm fairly certain its a vacuum hose. standby

edit: just looked, it is a vacuum hose, it has a screw in fitting that goes on the intake tube and then a rubber hose runs to the rear (windshield side) of the intake manifold, there should have been a hose that came off with the stock intake that ran to the same location

Thanks, the vacuum hose I'm pretty sure is towards you if you stand in front of your runner, this hole is on the opposite side

Thank you, the white twist in fitting is off the air box or did it come with the k&n kit? I bought mine used and don't think I received it, can I buy it at an auto parts store maybe?

i bought mine used and IIRC it was already installed on the intake tube when i got it, i think its supposed to come with the kit. it could help to call K&N and get a part number for it, a local auto parts store may have something like that

Emailed k&n, pm'ed member I bought it from, if worse comes to worse can I just put one of those tiny filters on the end of the hose and be ok?

Called K&N, they're sending me one for free, didn't even have to pay shipping! Great customer service
