Kansas Rocks on Oct. 15 has their "Creepy Crawl" event which my brother and I have gone to before. Last time it was pretty packed but we are going again this year.

I'd like to do a wheeling trip before the winter settles in, but it looks like that's not going to happen due to financial issues and the 4Runner needing another thing replaced or fixed. I'm eventually going to run out of things to replace on this rig.

Just got a text from your brother saying he was looking at joining us at Tuttle this weekend. Few of us from up north will be making the trip down.

I don't know if this Thread still active or not but I want to suggest you guys to join and bring your nice T4R to Cars and Coffee in Kansas City
there's plenty of nice cars coming in every time we have.
I have been coming this event for 6 months but I haven't seen any T4R coming to this yet..
Wrangler and some of pick-up truck are coming and make groups on the middle of place so I want to make nice T4R group on there and let people know T4R also can be a nice car that attractive to other people and then we can give them an idea and discuss about T4R whatever they have question about it. that's why I'm writing this and inviting you guys.
The event information
Place - 119th and Metcalf Overland Park KS (front of Hobby Lobby parking lot)
Time - early in the morning(8 AM - 10AM)
Date - every last week of the month(I assume people will enjoy new year weekend with their friend and there's no event notification for this weekend yet)
even if you never modified your T4R, you are always welcome to join!

Hey, I know that this thread is fairly quiet but since I'm in KC it made sense to post up to it.
I'll be honest, I'm hoping to find a local owner that has done the rear axle bearing removal/replacement themselves and might consider renting the tools or perhaps assisting with the press part of the work.
Thanks to everyone who has posted up their practices/experiences. This place is a great resource and community for 4runner owners.

I will bump this old thread again, about to move back to KC and wondering if there are any groups and/or get togethers that go on?
Anybody still on this thing? I live down in Overland Park but would love to meet up with some fellow 4Runner owners. I don't know how to set up my account or anything but I got a lifted 2000 4Runner, I just have spacers in it now with some wheels and tires, but I'm buying a 3" lift here in the coming months. I would love to meet up with people who live around the area. I'm down to drive anywhere, just let me know.

Hey! Thanks for the tag/invite sir. Would love to join you, but have one of my nursing clinical rotations that day. In May, my schedule will open up vastly, so I can be more active then.

My 86 Turbo Runner is on the blink. It backfires on acceleration and deceleration, seems to miss, and basically will not drive at this point.
Looking for a recommendation for a reputable mechanic in the KC region. I'm in the Piper area, but willing to drive for a good mechanic.
