Kawasaki brings back their stand up!

I started riding stand up skis when I was 12 years old. I had a 650SX. Had to install a couple bilge pumps to keep up with the submarines and what not. Sadly I had to sell it. Cracked hull, cracked handle pole, it was time. Moved to Vegas and they greeted me by banning two stroke motors on the lake. Well, Kawi has introduced a four stroke stand up! I've got two water couches now, so I may have to abandon one. Problem is, I'm 41 and not sure I can still throw down. At any rate, exciting stuff!!

How much weight penalty?

I used to ride one of those as a teenager and the two stroke let you get stupid big air.

I've never rode a stand up, are they much different than other skis?

On another note, I've had a couple Kawasaki bikes over the years and they were great. The one I miss the most was my KLR650. Rode that thing all over, in every kind of weather you could think of. Like the 4runner, it's easy to catch the mod bug with those.

At 550lbs it's a big piggy. But that's less than half of my Sea-Doo. I wonder if a four stroke could be as snappy as the two stroke. That would be my concern.
