I'd like to get kayak racks for the runner; however, I guess I need clarification. If I remember correctly the factory rack has a 120lbs. weight limit which will not be enough for both my yaks. I maybe assuming too much, but I am assuming that the 120lbs is on the crossbars. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Using that assumption, I guess what I'm needing is a system that attaches to the rails with it's own cross bars. Being rather narrow at the roof line I'm guessing I need bars that are wider than the runners roof line to fit two yaks without standing them on their sides.
Does anyone have experience with this and have input and or suggestions, pics, etc... I know Thule and Yakima have their handy dandy helper thingees on their sites. I would just like to have some human input on what to or what not to spend my money on. Please help!

Just to let you know I have a set of Kayak stackers and Multi Mounts for sale in the classifieds...all you would need is a yakima or thule roof rack. Since you already have the factory rack all you would need to get would be a Set of Yakima lowriders and Crossbars, which would set you back about 200 buck retail... But I am sure you could find a set much cheaper.... that will give you the extra strength you need to hold both your kayaks and give you more girth on the crossbars.
 
I've already got the pad things to attach to bar. Due to the size of my yaks I don't really want them on their sides. Thanks though.
I guess I'm really looking for input on the crossbar systems and what crossbar length is good without being a goofy fit. I'm thinking Thule 450 or Yakima 118. Any pro's or con's?
 
Yakima 118? I am not sure what that is? If you are talking crossbar length 78" is the longest they come. I have 58 inch bars on mine, but I was thinking about possible getting 66" bars later on...but 58" looks good, but anything longer is going to look a little out of place.

58 or 66 I guess that is my biggest dilima right now.
 
Damn, wish I would have noticed classifieds before you said something. I would have jumped on your load warrior.
 
I can take a picture of mine tonight with the 58" bars if you want me to. I am using Lowriders as well.

Super appreciated. That made it easy for me. I'm gonna have to go with the 66s. The 58 isn't gonna be big enough.

By the way, do you know the weight limit for the t4r rail? I'm pretty sure the limit in the manual is based on the stock cross bars.
