at the end they say to bleed the air.. how would that be done?
that flyer does not say "Toyota" recommends this. therefore,that...
we have all read horror stories of KDSS being bled by people who do not know better. A spacer sounds much cheaper and less detrimental than doing this to your ride...
i'm going to be doing both.. even when leveling by recalibrating the kdss it still may not sit level(by toyota standards), so the spacers will get it there i'm thinking
There is actually a procedure for this in the FSM. Seems like up to ¾" of lean is acceptable.

Yea I already bought the spacers to level it and I'm gonna do the recalibration. I just moved to NC and don't have my tools or a garage to do it anytime soon yet
Can anyone provide more specific instructions for this procedure? With photos perhaps? Would appreciate it very much.
its pretty easy brudda...
-park at a flat parking spot
-take cover off kdss unit
-work equalizing bolts out by 5mm
-get in 4runner or climb on rock rail or driverside door... rock car back and forth
-get in passenger side... rock back and forth
-close equalizing bolts off
-put cover back on
-FINI !!!
"-take cover off kdss unit"
This is what I need help identifying lol :lmao:
After having done this procedure numerous times over the last year, my lean keeps coming back literally on the first test drive after. Also, you can just shake the car back and forth without pulling out the threads and it will have the same effect. :noidea:
