After much much much deliberation..... i have decided to go the spacer route for my lift kit. If anyone knows of a good kit please let me know, "the cheaper, money wise of course, the better" I couldn't find any 3" kits, the longest i could find was 2.5" and that is what i'd like to go with. Thanks, i appreciate it!

www.4x4connections.com is having a sale on the daystar 2.5 complete kit. I think its going for $145. That's the cheapest I've ever seen it. I paid just over cost for my kit and it certainly wasn't $145. I'd hop on that if the spacers are really what you're lookin for.

But two things before i order...
1) I'm still a bit nervous about the durability of the spacers, will they be able to hold up, i work in colorado and the service roads in the area are only 4WD

2) Will they help firm up the rear of the truck??

I have the daystar spacers right now, and I have had zero problems. I live in colorado as well, and in the summer i'm on 4x4 trails every other day riding my bike and camping and they've done well. The front end is much stiffer and doesn't give as much articulation but that's what you get when you go the spacer route. If your looking to stiffen up your rear you may want to just buy the front end lift kit and then buy stiff rear coils from ome. I believe the 892 is their tow/heavy load coil and it also provide approx. 2.5in. That's the route I wish I had taken in the first place.

Using a spacers in the front and OME springs in the back would fit my budget perfectly, would i need to order the matching shocks or can I keep my stock shocks?

...you can definitely use your stock shocks. Some say replace them with extended length shocks, but if you're not crawling I think you'll be just fine. But keep in mind when you believe you're due for a shock replacement, and you can decide then if you want extended shocks.

Ok, now that i have made the decision, my pricing OCD has gotten the best of me... I know I want to do OME 890 springs in the back and the daystar 2.5" in the front. I have found the 890's for $161.89 shipping included from Rocky Road Outfitters, and the Daystar for $105 shipping included from strippermotorsports, then all I would need is a Diff drop which I could get from Toytec for $40 including shipping. The total would be $306.89.

But on Toytec, I can get a 3" lift w/ diff drop for $325 shipped!! Is this a better kit?? The spacers appear to be aluminum, but i'm not sure who makes their springs..

toytec sells ome springs i believe. And that kit looks great. The 3" kit w/ diff drop for 325 includes aluminum spacers, top out plate, diff drop and those are indeed the 890's from ome. Looks like just the right kit for you. Although, the 890's are only said to give about 2.5 inches of lift. SO you may want to call and verify cause everywhere I look the 890's are a 2.5" rear lift coil and you may end up getting the 2.5" kit to keep it level if that's what your trying to maintain/acheive
