Kenwood DVD trim ring help

The Kenwood DVD's seem to stick out further than the others. Have any of you found a solution for this? Mine is a 6019 and the screen sticks out about 3/4" from the rest of the unit. I have a non-JBL system and the Metra 95-8210 wasn't even close to fitting. The side pieces are from Toyota and fit flush with the unit, but the screen sticks out. Anybody have a solution to flush the screen and still allow the unit to open? Pics are below and taken with a flash - the gap doesn't look anywhere near as bad in the pics but I like things to be close to perfect.

the best way to cover it up, is get some abs plastic, and trace it and cut it, and make a lil finish peice to cover all that up, then itll look nicer, i use the metra side peice kuss of my double din unit on my non jbl

If you follow my thread here: OEM Trim Ring , I'm in the midst of trying to figure out this part number with one of my local dealerships. They've been real cool about it and interested in helping me out. I've given them a part number that someone else found on it along with a VIN of an Urban Runner to help them along. First time I went the truck was so new that there was nothing in the part system yet for an U.R., and a follow up visit when I was there, their intranet parts system was down. I'm hoping the third times the charm and I'll have positive results to report back on!

Mike, I've been following your thread - I even went over to the dealer that day to see the Urban Runner and they didn't have any on the lot - and the Toyota dealer here is HUGE....so I knew it would probably be awhile. Let us know when you find something out.
