key fob case

hiyall, merry christmas!

i got 2002 t4r and both keyfobs are broken. the innards are fine - it's just the plastic casing that's broken and falling apart.

where can i buy the plastic casings? again, i do not need to buy the whole thing - just the shells.

i spent some time searching this board but while alots of previous posts discusses the installation of new keyless fob, i couldn't find any that talked about the casing replacement.

any help appreciated. thanks!

A guy on yotatech is selling a few key fobs for $20 but he says there for a tacoma, i think they would work, I would doubt that you can buy only the case. Keyless Entry "Fobs" for Tacoma - $20 obo - YotaTech Forums

I got a brand new key fob on ebay for about $18 including shipping. Just look at the code on the back where it says denso so you get the right one. And like you, I just needed the plastic case.

If they're cheap enough, just buy the whole FOB...and then swap the guts so you don't have to re-program them
