Key-off parasitic drain on an 05? . . .Help?!

Hey all - thanks for helping with this!

After having several mornings of no starts, I replaced my battery . . . only to have it go dead 2 days later. This only happens after letting her sit overnight or longer.

Here's what's been done so far:

I measured the (new) battery when I parked last nite at 10pm: 12.67. This morning I measured the battery at 10am: 12.43. Only about a 10 F degree temp drop. That's a big draw right?

I disconnected the old battery (that I thought was faulty so I changed it out) and gave it a full charge. I let it settle and it tested at:12.75 It has been sitting in my garage and 4 days later it tests: 12.69 Not much of a draw.

I believe this indicates a key-off drain so I disconnected the pos terminal after letting the car sit for over an hour and tested across the terminal and the cable for mA draw. (after determining that my cheap multitester had a blown fuse in it) and started pulling fuses.

The slightly less cheap multitester showed a draw (After I unplugged the dome relay) of 25 - 19 mA (keeps jumping around) until I take out the "short pin" fuse. Does anyone know what this is for?

After the short pin fuse is removed the draw goes down to .3mA

Very interesting, I'm not sure what the "short pin" fuse does. Seeing as i don't actually have my truck yet (gets delivered Sunday morning) i cant check till then. I am very interested to find out whats causing the problem though.

The short pin isn't a fuse but a jumper link to several fuses. Please see the attached diagram (from '04 but should still apply.) Not sure how else to help other than try to track down for shorts on the fused circuits coming off the short pin circuit.

Do you have the JBL system. I believe that there is a TSB regarding a draw from the amp.
