Key reprogram issues and the crappy dealership!

So I went into the dealership and asked them to reprogram the keyfobs/computer so that when I press unlock-all the doors unlock. They said it would be $40!!! They said that if it is soon after purchase they wont charge, but after 6months-1year they consider it an "adjustment"! So I said "Well no one told me this! My salesman said that I could wait until my next oil change." So the service manager said "Well you should have said that--I cant read minds." So I then said "well I cant either--you should have told me sooner!". So, I have to go in YET AGAIN and deal with crappy ass Miller Toyota in Manassas, VA, but they are going to do it for free now. Once I get done with the $8.95 oil change coupons-THEY ARE DEAD TO ME!

You would think that the dealership would program the T4R the way you want it at
delivery, but some service managers look at it as another profit item.
They should be named dis-service managers.

If you put a remote start in the car, particularly a Viper, your stock remote will still work and become your spares. In turn the Viper system will do exactly what you wish, it unlocks all the doors on 1 push of the button. I was never a fan of remote start until I got it as a gift. Now i on't think I'll own a car without one. And if in an unfortunate event you happen to loose a remote it is a 1/3rd of the price to replace.

I almost bought a vehicle from Miller Toyota, but they wouldn't budge on the price. Sounds like I made a good decision b/c I would of also ended up using their service department if I bought my 4Runner from them.
