keyboards... yup, just keyboards

I'm looking for a good decent wireless keyboard. My Microsoft 6000 I bought bout 4 years ago has pretty much tapped out. I'm really looking for one with the soft touch keys. Any suggestions would be nice to hear.. Thanks!

I'm using the Logitech Wave Pro combo set that has the MX1100 mouse. I think it's been discontinued in US. Logitech still offers the Wave combo set MK550 with a different mouse. I prefer the ergo style keyboards.

two things I'd do:

1. check newegg.com for reviews and prices

2. I would purchase a keyboard/mouse combo because that way you only have one USB port used for both. Don't know about you, I never can have enough usb ports.

I like the Window MCE keyboard. Mostly for the egronomics. It can be used as a universal remote and control a home theater system if it is connected to your computer.

Uneek - I'm looking for something more slim. A big designed keyboard will be a hassle for me bc I'm not at a desk. My computer screen is my 37" HD Samsung and my chair is my bed

Ripcord - I've used that Microsoft keyboard before. My buddy used it for his media center. I didn't like it that much, and its got too many functions for what I need. That Logitech DiNovo is a sweet keyboard for sure.. but not spending that much!

I've got two keyboards in mind..

The Logitech K800. Wireless and rechargeable w/ illuminated keys and slim design. Perfect for me cus I'm often web wheeling at night when I get home from work.

or

The Logitech K750. Wireless and charges off solar panels. VERY Slim design. Stays charged for 3 months even when in no light. But no hardwired charging option on it.

I don't necessarily need a combo with a mouse because set point should allow a new keyboard to work off my existing usb connector.

I like the Logitech Wave and really like it!

But my favorite is the Apple keyboard, super quiet, shallow keystrokes, minimal. I like the wired one with the number keyboard.

Yup, I love my mac keyboard. Haven't found one like it yet.
