Keyless entry beep sound...

I need help finding the "speaker" that makes noise when I lock/unlock the car with the remote. It's for a 97 Limited but all I keep finding online is for 00-02 4Runners showing the denso module on the rear passenger side of engine bay. I have nothing there and I have had no luck finding anything here in terms of the location.

If you have the RS3000 system it should be on the drivers side engine bay next to the fuse box. They usually are wrapped in a piece of black foam.

It's called a piezo and I'm pretty sure they were dealer installed so where it's mounted may vary. I found mine on the passenger side near the ABS controller. About the size of a thimble and wrapped in black foam.

All three of mine (96 and two 97's) were drivers side along the inner fender.

Thanks a lot guys. I think I see it behind the battery and I do remember it when installing my HID kit. It's wrapped with some dark grey foam but I don't see a connector, just goes in the firewall. I did only check in the dark with a flashlight so I'll move the battery aside at work tomorrow and see what I can find. Thanks again.
