Keyless Entry Chime on 4thgen.

Just got my 2005 4runner back from the body shop and my keyless entry does not chime anymore. Bodyshop guy called the dealership service and parts and they say the 4runners do not come with a chime unless I had the dealer installed alarm and that the keyless entry are silent. Mine always had the chime and I do not have an alarm system. Can anyone else let me know if your 4th gen 4runner chimes when locking the doors and also where exactly it is located, pics will help, so I can show the body shop guy that they do exist. He thinks I'm making this up to get a free alarm system.

It does beep when locking (1x) and unlocking (2x). Either the pietzo horn is disconnected or the system reset while the body shop worked on the truck. If you search, you will find pics of where the horn is and can check the connection.

The body shop had taken my vehicle to the dealership and said it was missing. But now they say it doesn't come with one. It was supposed to connect to the left side top of the fender apron. And thats what the bodyshop had replaced.
