Last month, my power locks, windows, and seat all went out. After reading some threads here, I replaced the pink fuse in the driver side fuse panel, and all was well - for 2 weeks. It all just died again. I guess now I need to search all the wiring in each door for a short somewhere?
Perhaps separately, or maybe interconnected, is the intermittent functionality of my factory keyless entry. That thing has always been wonky. Lately, even worse. Sometimes it chirps and locks, sometimes it doesn't chirp but still locks. Lately, it hasn't worked at all for a few days, then works again randomly. The key fob battery is not old.
Could there be something that is affecting each of these systems simultaneously, or are they likely 2 separate issues? I'm really dreading going on a search through all the wires looking for a short. I enjoy tinkering, but electrical is not an area of confidence.
