One thing that concerns me: What are you using for a radiator?
If it's the original 22R-E radiator, it might be insufficient. Going from 116 hp to 150 hp, is approx. a 30% increase in horsepower, and consequently approx. a 30% increase in heat load on the cooling system.
A radiator from a 3VZE powered truck or 4Runner, would be ideal, assuming you also run a radiator shroud. The fan blades should be approximately half shrouded by the shroud.

That's a concern, for sure. I'm going to run the stock rad for now, and I'll burn that bridge if I come to it.

Pretty good tie rod clearance - no worse than before, anyway.
Finalized motor mounts. They still need burned in, but I'm going to leave that for somebody better with a welder than I am.
Motor is in place, and we started hooking up wires and hoses. The highest spot on the motor is the power steering fluid reservoir - a friend suggested removing it, but I think it gravity feeds and I'm not sure how well that will work. It appears to clear a strut under the hood by about a millimeter, maybe less. I'll probably cut out a chunk of that strut to make sure though.

Mounts are burned in. Got the crossmember brace welded on while I was at it.
That's the TrailGear brace, and the fit sucked. The tabs are large enough that I had to beat back the core support in a couple spots, and several of the bolts holes were a good 1/2 inch off and had to get ground out. Not at all impressed.

I sat down this morning and had a good long stare at the Bastard, and weighed some options. I've decided to sell it and start over. Help me out with a price - OME, KM2s, 4.7 case, rear locker, a half-done 2.7 swap and lots of rust and cosmetic damage, $3500 about right?

Your truck (up here) In its current state is probably worth about 1500. Tops. Probably closer to a grand. Make more money parting it out. The 1/2 done thing is killing it. If you can get 3500 for it, well dam, good for you, but youll have a much better chance getting that if it ran.

Well if you sell it then I might have enough time to finish my Jeep. I have to work on a shop car this weekend, ordered lift parts and need to convert the front driveshaft to a slip yoke. Then I still have to make sliders. And hope the tires fit. Then get the bastard wired in, which with all the emissions stuff isn't gonna get done in one day. Likely not anyway. Not to have everything working as it should. Probably not.
So yeah. You should totally sell it and get a taco.

When are we making this thing run? Don't think my lift kit will make it here by this weekend. I have to get one of our shop cars torn down and repaired so that will be my Sunday.
