Would a rebuild kit fix a permanent whining? I would think the whining is coming from a shot bearing. Aren't the rebuild kits just all new seals or are there bearings too?
Never updated this thread. Replaced pump with a rebuilt cardone unit. Noise was still there! Ended up being the cheap idler pulley bearing........ A stethoscope is in my future.
