Kind of a dumb question re: stereo

I would love to have a CD changer that holds more than one CD. I've noticed some of the Scion stereos on here for sale/trade but if I purchased another Toyota 6 disc changer or something, would it work in my '99? Or is there a 6 disc option for the 3rd gen?

There is an option for a six disk changer on the third gens. I had one, until I replaced it with my D3. I'm sure you could find one cheap somewhere, or possibly on a part out vehicle.

There is a six disc cd changer in the third gens but i don't know exactly when it was an option. maybe 99 to 02? Somebody correct me if im wrong. And im sure it you could find one in a junkyard and install it in your 99.

Why not get a new headunit that can hook up to an ipod? And while at it get an ipod if you don't have one. It would play more songs than 6 disc can hold.

I've never heard of the factory one that people are talking about, but that is option one.

Option two would be to get a CD changer that you can mount anywhere in your vehicle and just hook it up to your head unit.

Option three would be to just get a new headunit and get an iPod adapter, which would eliminate the CDs.
