King Owners...Problem with a Wiper Seal

2018 TRD OffRoad with King extended travels. Around 12k on them. Mild forest road use. Left rear wiper seal came out. Any ideas on a solution other than removing the shock. I talked to Ben at Filthy and he said he has never seen this. He offered to replace the seal free of charge. I just do not want to go thru the trouble of removing the shock just for a wiper seal. Also sent King an email but no response.

improper installation by king. it happens more than you'd expect. i'd take ben up on his offer.
