Klasse AIO (Quick Review/Thoughts)

So as most of you know, I recently bought my T4R. This past weekend, I decided to give her the royal treatment with a good bath and some Klasse All In One (Cleaner/Sealant).

I researched waxes/sealants and had never used Klasse before this past weekend. I've traditionally just used any old wax. So with that said, I don't have extensive experience reviewing waxes/sealers. (With that caveat out of the way, on to the pictures, because I feel like they speak for themselves).

***Mind you I didn't plan on doing before/after pictures, but happened to have some "clean" before pictures and then was so amazed at the "after" that I felt the need to share:

Obviously I'm not affiliated with Klasse or anything, just wanted to post these pictures, because I was simply amazed at how nice it looked after! Obviously some of the pics were with different cameras at different times/lighting, but they are "clean vs. clean" pictures at least and I still think it's somewhat impressive.

One thing I should really stress is how amazingly easy this applied and wiped off. I applied it to the entire truck and let it sit for a little while and it still just wiped right off (easier to take off than it was to put on!)

Now we'll just see how long it lasts. It claims to last 6 months, but I'd be shocked to get anywhere near that. I'd be happy with 3 months.

Klasse Sealant Glaze can last upto a year. I've gotten close to that with periodic washing, once to every other month and then applying detailer to it afterwards.

Klasse AIO is great for glass. Has the same effectiveness as Rain-X but without the nastiness of dirt sticking.

I will using nothing else other than Klasse AIO and SG.

Thx. I'll probably pick up the SG for next timdle and do it in a month or so. I should have just gotten and done the SG this time around.

Beware that the sealant glaze is much more difficult to work with than the AIO. The AIO is amazing stuff. I don't use anything else and yes, you will get 6 months out of it if not more.

The Klasse twins are a very good product. I've used them extensively on paint, glass, wheels, metals, etc. There is a bit of a learning curve with them but the durability is superb.

I've actually moved away from them now though and have begun using Werkstat's line as far as sealants go.

I've used the Klasse twins for a couple of years on my T4R and they produce great results, but I prefer the combination of Klasse AIO then 24 hours later a coat or two of Wolfgang Fuzion Carnuba wax. The AIO and Fuzion are both very easy to work with and last 6+ months if washed regularly (every week or two) and a detail spritz used after each wash. It keeps a beautiful shine and doesn't require a crapload of work to remove like the Klasse Sealant. Don't get me wrong, I love the way the SG protects, but it's a pain in the butt to remove.

How long do you usually get out of the AIO + SG in comparison to just the AIO?

I just applied both the Klasse AIO and SG to my new T4R between yesterday and this morning. The AIO was great to work with, easy on and off, on the entire exterior. Nice to be able to do the glass, plastic trim and lights.

The SG was a PITA. Easy to apply, but I think I applied too much, and then it was impossible to get off. I ended up applying a very light spritz of water to the microfiber towel, which helped.

The truck looked good before, so I didn't notice a dramatic before and after. One thing I DO like is the TE wheels, which are super easy to clean. My old Subaru had the STi alloys, and it was a PITA to clean those with all of the spokes.

I might do another coat of the SG tomorrow, to try it again. It feels like a tricky balance trying to apply the right amount. The applicator seems to put it on thick initially, and then quickly run out of product. Is there a secret to this?

As Uneek said, thin is in for Klasse SG.

If you see it streaking, you have put too much on there.

I learned by putting the SG in a spray bottle, almost misting it onto an applicator pad, and then applying it lightly. Now, some owners will treat SG like a spray wax where you put the SG into a spray bottle, mist it onto a panel, wipe it into the panel with a clean MF towel. Then fold the same MF towel and wipe off. Let it cure up to 12 hrs and top with a wax. This worked for me quite well.

Still trying to figure out which sealant to go with. Might go with the Klasse SG, but am worried about this application stuff...

I would not worry too much about applying the KSG; there is a learning curve to it but then again there is to most detailing products. I'd start with a rear panel and go from there.

Don't apply it in the sun, temp ideally between 60 and 80, with low humidity. The real key I have found for sealants is not having any dew or mist cover it for at least 8 hrs, so I apply mine in the morning if at all possible.

Autoality are good folks and carry enough detailing supplies to make your eyes glaze over and your wallet much lighter.

Thanks a lot! I've done a good bit if mods since I started this thread. I'll post more pics after new tires and/or when I get to sealing.

Finally got some Klasse sealant glaze today. I applied the Klasse twins, and must say that with putting a light coat of the SG, it was not hard to remove at all and looks simply fantastic! (I heard it was ''sooo hard to remove'', but this was not the case for me at all.) I've used standard carnuba waxes that were much harder to remove frankly.

I'm sold on Klasse for sure.
