Km/Miles on your 4th gen

I have a v8 with 33,000km in about a 1/2 year. No problems with the car yet...

I was just curious as so what kind of engine everyone has and how many km/miles they have put on it. Can I expect my v8 to last as long as the engines on the 3rd gens? I see people are driving them with no problems at all....

Just broke 50,000miles/80467KM last week in 2 years time. I have had no mechanical problems at all. Still have the original brakes too.

My Kids destroyed the cheap cup holders in the back seat but that is about it.

2004 V6 SR5-49,000 miles. No problems, just a few USER errors.

04 V6 bought April 17, 2004. Already has 59,708 miles as of today (May 3, 2006).

No problems other than a passenger seat squeak and a tailgate rattle.

59,800 miles as of today. Original brakes and tires (with about 15K left on them cheap Dunlops). No problems as of this morning. 2004 V6.

I have 790 miles on my '06...

Hey guys I've got a question...I know my 4ruuner is brand new but the mileage is really bad...my first tank was 16mpg, the second was 15mpg and I've driven ~40 miles on my current tank and the average mpg on the computer reads 13mpg!

Yes, most of my current driving is short trips around the city but 13-15mpg!!?? I'm a little worried... and yes I installed an OME lift and 265/70/17 Nitto's, but from what I've read people with the lift and tires are getting ~17mpg.

After what mileage will mpg improve?? Or with the lift and tires is 15mpg my reality???

PS- I've been using a very light foot

04 SE with 31K miles and just a few annoying niggles to deal with under warranty (offside front brake dragging, squealing drive belt etc.). But the sunroof still works and I still have about 10K left on the stock Dunflops.
