So I parallel parked my 4Runner outside my house last night and everything sounded fine. This morning I pull out and I hear a rhythmic knocking sound coming from the rear wheel well. It sounded like a hammer knocking the wheel well and increased with speed. I pumped the brakes a couple times going about 20MPH and the noise went away. I continued to work this morning and never heard it again?

Did you recently have brake work done? I'd check your caliper bolts.
The rotors/pads were replaced by Toyota in February.

I actually have a similar noise as well that I have been chasing for a while and im hoping maybe eventually one of these threads and maybe this one points us to the right thing.
I have checked everything obvious, zip tied anything suspect, did the wiggle test on anything after that and re torqued any bolt I can get to. without any luck or change.
Do you hear it over bumps at any speed? when accelerating hard from a stop? windows up or only windows down? can you decipher which side its coming from?
