Hey everybody,
So obviously I’m a new guy and just wanted to say hey and tell my story for those willing to hear it.
I have a 98 SR5 that I got about 7 months ago. The truck has 228,xxx miles on it and its stock for the most part aside from what I have done since I got it. It has a few dents in the body and needs new rear bumpers from rust but this truck is to sentimental for me to get rid of. My uncle, Darrell, lived with us for a long time when I was younger and he was the closest thing I had to a big brother. He was always there for me when I needed advice, a ride, help with my own car the list goes on. He was a loyal Toyota truck owner too! July last year I lost my uncle to lung cancer and he had two 4 runners. The 98 that he left me and an 02 that my younger brother got.
I aggravated him nonstop about changing this one up and we were never able to do it. I took it over August and have had my car up for sale since then while also doing this yota up.
To this point I have kicker red speakers in it, Alpine head unit, Just bought some trail wheels from an 18, tinted the front windows and the”TO DO” list is about a mile long from there.
I have been tooling around this site for a couple weeks now and I would like to take this chance to thank everybody that has helped answer my many, many questions. It’s been great getting feedback and help from everybody and I look forward to posting about the build as it happens.
