KYB Monomax

Anyone running KYB Monomax shocks on their trucks? I know there are some people running the gasadjusts and they ride pretty much like sock and I was wondering what the Monomax's were like. They do seem to be much heavier and only a few dollars more.

Stiff, strong, and mine have a lifetime warranty. Don't get them if you like a plush ride, but get them if you like being in control of the road and trail.

I would rather have stiff than too soft. Just looking for slightly stiffer than stock. I only see highways and dirt roads so no heavy duty wheeling.

If anything stock ride is perfect. There is no too soft shock. If you go to stiff your truck will hop all over wash board and small bumps will beat you to death. Never go stiffer. Always stay near stock or softer.

Mine return me to stasis extremely quickly when I hit rough patches on our secondary roads up here. New Brunswick with our temperature shifts in the winter has wicked bad frost heaving and broken up secondary and tertiary roads. I can be doing a corner at 50mph, hit a killer rough section, and have a large truck in the other lane (there is no shoulder) and know exactly where my Runner is and know it's in awesome touch with the road. It feels great.

However, and this is a big however, the ride is stiff--it does beat me to hell. I'd have to flip a coin on going stock or getting these again.
