Ok guys I said I'd complile a list of mods that have been done to my truck, and ones I would like to do so here we go:

Inside:
Kenwood KVT-817DVD (No longer, now there is a pioneer CD/iPod Player and a CB there)
Infinity Basslink II (250w) (Also no longer; don't buy square subs. They freeze.)
Suede Seats by Katzkin
Boost Guage
Viper 2 Way Alarm System w/ Remote Start
Crappy tint on front windows/winsheild
Good tint on back windows
Huskey Liners
Painted all silver peices white

Outside:
Old Man Emu Heavy springs with the NitroCharger shocks
3-4" Body Lift (I haven't had time to work it out yet)
20" Enkei Wheels, powdercoated grey, matching spare
35" Nitto Mud Grapplers, matching spare
Ute back chop, including winch-controlled tire carrier
Rear wall in place with CRL Powr-Slider truck window (works off the factory rear window switch)
Warn M8000 in back bumper
Custom tube bumper
Custom spare tire carrier (folds down for access with the winch)
Custom sliders
Dual Optima Yellow Tops (one in stock location, one in back bumper next to winch)
TRD Supercharger
ARB rear locker
ARB Compressor
Safari Snorkel
PIAAs in the side mirrors (tacoma swtich inside) (Was just told that I can replace the lens with ATP without buying new lights, super stoked!)
Toyota (Koito) Black headlights
Toyota (Koito) Yellow Fog/Off-road lights (Factory stalk fog swtich)
6000K HID lowbeams (off-brand I think, work fine)
Aftermarket black tail lights (Can decide if I like them, or if I want to take the LEDs off my '06. I love how bright the LED's are)
Grey bedliner all the way around the bottom, front bumper, and rear tire carrier
Functional hood scoop
LED Parking/Turn Signal strips

Want:
4.56 gears
ARB/Shrockworks style front bumper (Plan to make it myself becuase I can tailor it to what I want, and I can make it fit with the body lift)
Change the back end to carry the tire on the rails a la baja truck, and the back to have a flip down tailgate a la Land Cruiser, then a new bumper
Winch in front (don't know if I want a second one, or just to move my current one)
Safari rack like the one on the ARB 4Runner (Plan to make it myself since no one makes one like it)
Voltage meters for batteries
Carpet removed in favor of black diamond plate
Center cap for spare tire/wheel (haha that's just laziness)
2006+ projector headlights
Factory swtiches for the compressor and locker (ARB ones are ugly)
OBA (I only have the little ARB compressor for the locker)

Sorry I was a little slow with it. The truck needs LOTS of work, but I'll take this anyday over my 06 2WD. The problem with that truck is I never had anything to do, and I didn't want to put money into modding it becuase I knew I wanted a 4WD. Now I have something to work on all the time, and this keeps me from going crazy between exams and hangovers. Here's the important stuff:

And, of course, the infamous picture that's been floating around the internet for a few years now...

There are pictures of the interior paint here:

There are a few videos of some SWFL action here:

I know some of these pictures are old (the older ones are the ones without the LED bars under the headlights), but I just wanted to get this thread up to date, so that way I can (slowly) continue from here.

to be honest, i used to hate 4th gen 4runners. but after seeing this you totally changed my mind. great rig ive never seen one this clean in my life. and the truck type deal with the back end is sick!!! good job

Kyle -

Love your T4R! Did you but it already chopped? That looks cool! What Enkie's are you running? I read that you still have XREAS...I'm surprised that you didn't take it off? Are you planning to do the whole suspension?

I'm glad my rig could bring you around! I love the 4th gen, hence why this is my second one. And yeah I love the back end. Thanks!

Yes I bought it off of my neighbor who I worked on it with since it was new. It was done by the same guy who did these:

The enkies are called RT6. The funny thing is, I've seen them on another 4th gen powdercoated the same color! AND the guy had used the same snorkel! Haddix I think his username was. And the X-REAS is gone now, although I REALLY liked the way it drove, it had started to leak and needed to be replaced. So it's FJ suspension for now, which doesn't do well with the weight.

My plan suspension-wise is to put the Fabtech or Rough Country 6" FJ kit on with OME heavy springs/shocks, and a 3" spacer in the back and front. The reason for the mix and match is because the truck is so heavy, I don't think the springs that come with the 6" kits will support the weight any better than the FJ springs, so I want to use the OME heavys, but they only give 3" of lift, so have to add 3" spacers in front and back. Basically:

Rough Country 6" - Front spacers - rear springs + OME front and rear springs + 3" spacers = awesome and unattainable right now haha

Thanks for the compliments!

Hey kyle, Icon and Radflo make coilovers for the 6" lifts. May want to look into that instead of piecing lift kits together.

I like the bumper design alot actually. I think on the 4th gens when you remove the stock bumper, there's alot of void to fill. The one on yours is definitely a unique design. I like the lights in the side mirrors too. Reminds me of an FJ mirror on steroids.

Not hating on the runner, to each his own. It's obviously capable and built to be used.

Any more info on the two Lexus trucks? Are they for sale?

I really like this Lexus fllexin. Looks like a great week-end wheeler. It's really more naked then my ex 84 T4R topless ;)
