Lack of power

hey guys i have a 95 4x4 the problem is when i go up hills theres no power, i could be going 60 and then when i incline speed decreases, anybody know what could be the problem thanks

I'd say that's normal if your on Oahu going up H-3 gotta stay in 3rd. I'm all stock my friends trucks fly up tho 5.29s and ones on 35s other on 37s

Thanks...one more thing what does it mean when i do go up the hill take my overdrive off and it goes slower

It means you had the 3.0 v6 to begin with. Get a tune up and regear your diffs. You'll never have that issue again.

FYI, this has been discussed a million times and a simple search would have revealed that.

That's a typical symptom of a clogged cat converter.
