I liked JAOS lamp stay http://www.autoseattle.com/jaos7.htm but not will to shell $300+ for them.

Found this website http://www.randyellisdesign.com/
that sells light bars. I sent Randy an email to inquire if he sells something similar to JAOS lamp stay or if he can fabricate one and at what cost.

I've been searching the internet for the exact same thing and for the same reason. Let me know if that guy can make them.

I found this on ebay, I emailed the guy twice if he had them for 4runners, but I haven't recieved a response.

I sent an email several weeks ago to Randy Ellis Design in hopes of finding some kind of light bar similar to the Tacoma's. Unfortunetly, Randy replied NO. Maybe if they keep getting emails, they'll change there minds.

I sent an email to TruckXessories and got a reply back. Here is the reply:

We currently do not have one in production at this time. We can have our fab shop make you one for $189.95 plus shipping, figure on 3 weeks before shipping. Let us know if we can help you out.

I think price it decent, just need to check if is mounted similar to the tacoma since I want to keep my westin safari guard as well.

Email showed up in bulk email (yahoo) or junk mail probably why you did not see the reply.

Just Contacted Gary - http://www.truckxessories.com/ and he confirmed lamp stay mounting will be similar to Tacoma (see attached picture). So I might be able to keep my Westin Safari Bar - this will help protect the lamp stay as well.

They will mount it to a 2005 4runner first to test mount and ship it to me when ready in 3 weeks.

Lamp stay is also available on different colors.

They kept delaying shipment. After 2 months, I cancelled my order and was refunded.

Yea, most places that don't have it, say they can make it, but never get around to it.

I do sell the Jaos, and yes, it's is $$$, and believe it or not, my cost isn't much less. I do sell it I think lower than most.

I can have it powercoated in black, but you'd be better to have it done locally as they charge me a flat fee, which is over $100 to powdercoat. You should be able to get it done locally for MUCH less. Not sure if it would work with the westin.
