Hey guys, just wondering if anyon has stepped up to a slightly larger exhuast pipe after the muffler? Yes/no? thoughts? Thinking of having one bent up, but not sure if i'll lose too much back pressure. i have the deck plate mod, airraid intake tube, and flowmaster 40 series going in.

Thanks!

You won't lose any backpressure by upping the piping size after the muffler. You also won't see any performance gain. As the exhaust cools, it loses volume, if anything this larger piping will kill the velocity of the gas in the exhaust system.

After the muffler won't even do that, it will do nothing at all. Get a bigger pipe, cut it off, do whatever you want. If you were talking before the muffler or cat's, then you are talking affecting the performance, but after the muffler piping is really just to direct exhaust flow away from stuff.
