Hey guys . Very new to the 4runner world and need some help . I have a 19 Voodoo TRD PRO and would like a little bit larger tire and maybe a small lift . Nothing extreme. Im wondering if i can out a larger tire on without doing a lift . Or if there is a small lift you recommend to do when going to a larger tire . Any feedback is much appreciated .

TRD Pro has about a 1" lift in the front as opposed to the other 4Runners. Once you decide to lift it, you are pretty much negating the extra cost you paid for the Pro, because other than the 1" lift with FOX shocks and the badging and the black valances on the front and the back, the truck is the same as the TRD OR (unless you just wanted one of those special colors that the Pro only has).
If you want bigger tires, you can go with 275/70R17's no problem without a lift. Those Duratracs though are pretty decent tires. You may want to wear them out before you get bigger ones.

Yep, go with 285/70/17. I ran them with no lift and just had to push my fender forward and trim just a small corner piece off and loved it.
Thank you . That makes sense . I will take your advice and when its time for tires ill get the 275/70/17 . Any particular brand . I live in Calgary , Canada so something that is decent on snow and ice would be good .

At that size, the Falken AT3's is what I would go with.
However, others have said they tend to run a bit bigger (closer to a 285 in other brands).
In the 285/70/17 size, I would strongly consider the Nitto Ridge Grapplers.
If I don't do wheel spacers, I will do either the Ridge Grapplers at 285 or the Falkens at 275

Here's my experience on my factory height on my TRD Off-Road Premium which sits than your TRD Pro
Went from 265/70/R17 Bridgestone Dueler to 275/70/R17 Falken Wildpeaks AT3W and had major rubbing at full reverse in both directions. Had to get the Dremel and cut off about a 1-inch width of bumper(not fender liner, which was already pushed forward) on my driver side. Will also have to do the same to the passenger

Just remember the TRD Pro wheels have a different offset. Although you can run 275’s with the OEM SR5 and Trail/Off-Road wheels and not rub you’ll likely get a little fender liner or mud flap rubbing with Pro wheels. That’s why they have to trim the Pro’s at port just to fit their 265’s. Not hard to mod the fender liner and mudflaps but don’t be shocked if you get some rubbing with 275’s and Pro wheels.
As for recommendations I have had both Cooper AT3’s and now the Falken’s. I will say the Falken’s have impressed me so far but I put 50k on the Cooper’s and they did everything well. Couldn’t go wrong with either.

Eibach is working on a straight coil lift for the Fox suspension which is one of the best options for keeping your stock suspension, or do a simple cornfed spacer lift. I have the Eibach 1" rear coils on order along with a 2" cornfed spacer until Eibach releases the front coil.
With my tires (and new wheels) I only rub slightly at full lock on the mud flap, which I should be able to push in with a heat gun. (As the Pro comes with the front fender pushed)
Lots of good options for tires, I went with Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT, and have a buddy with the 4S who is happy with them. They had been on sale at Cdn Tire for 20% off. Other than that, the Falkens, Duratracs or K02s seem like good bets.

2018 Pro with 1.5/1” Cornfed spaces added and 275-70-17 KO2’s. Really like the setup, although the E rated tire chopped 1-1/2mpg.
No trimming, cutting or mods at all at full articulation on uneven ground. Fender liner cut is done at the port on the Pros. I will probably go with a C rated 285 next time around as long as I do not have to do a BMC and remove my mud flaps.

I know a bit off topic, but doesn’t the Pro also have dual auto climate control and the JBL sound system, both of which you can’t get on the ORP? Seems like significantly more differences than just suspension but I hear people say this over and over.

I just bought a 17 SR5, used, from a Toyota dealer. It came with 285/70r17 Toyos on Mickey Thompson wheels and has a 2-3" lift.
No issues with the easy wheeling I've done so far. No indication that they have previously rubbed, though it appears the the 20,000 miles on the odometer were not off road miles.

2020 models in the US too
Thanks again Mark . My only worry left is moving to a E rated tire from a C . Does anyone find it really hurts the performance of the truck ? In a perfect world i wish they made a 275 c rated tire
