Thanks to all that came out! Without all of you I would have cancelled the run as I would not have gone alone. We ended up having 5 rigs in the end as one of the guys who came mountain biking with me to the Goat Canyon trestle bridge on Saturday joined us too! He had never been off-roading before and this trip was an eye opener for him and what a bone dry, stock SR5 4Runner can do.

These pics are from Saturday's run to Dos Cabezas and the Goat Canyon trestle bridge. Funny. I posted this ride on my mountain bike club's website and the 3 guys that showed up all had Toyotas (2 4Runners and 1 Sequoia).
Blooms were in full swing.
First glimpse of trestle bridge - 2 miles away.
Had to hike over this cave-in.
Mike and his Sequoia had to take off so the rest of us headed to the mud caves in Arroyo Tapiado.
We tooled around on Jojoba Wash and made it to Piepkorn Slot but I didn't want to risk damaging Danny's stock 4Runner since he didn't have any sliders or good tires. So we turned around.

Nice to meet you guys and thanks for letting me (complete noob) tag along. I had an amazing time! I learned a lot about my vehicle on what it can and can not do. Funny thing is I've been a member for a couple years now and I've never thought to go to a local meetup. Looking forward to more of these trips!

You did great! Imagine what a lift and A/T tires can do. No stopping you then. There's always a run someone's putting on every month. Keep checking and learn about your 4runner/mods. There's a run on april 8 at anza if you're interested.Hey guys,
