Long story short my 4Runner was hit in the passenger side front tire. 6 months later I discover my lower control arm is bent and cv axles are leaking and have been for some time. Truck is also I’ve due on lower ball joints. I’m thinking I’ll do this all at once. I’m planning on going oem from camelback for everything except the cv axles and the inner tie rod ends. I’m also planning on doing the control arm bushings for the non bent control arms. What should I start with? Has anyone else done these at the same time? Any other threads I should read first?

I have done all of these at different times. I highly recommend doing them all at the same time and I would use all OEM except the axles (I did). There are threads that will help but I can't think of them off hand. Timmy The Tool Man has some good videos on youtube that will help.

Buy new control arms, don't mess with trying to put bushings in the old ones. I bent one of mine trying to press out the old bushings and ended up with my 4Runner on jackstands for most of a week while I waited on a new LCA to show up. Yeah it's a little more expensive but let me tell you, I'd gladly have paid twice the cost of a new LCA to avoid that whole headache.

And yes, do all of that stuff while you've got it taken apart. You'll have to pull most of it off anyway to get the control arms out.

I’m watching a Timmy tool guy video and I agree

Just know that aftermarket inners will not last as long as OEM ones. They are not actually that hard to replace, it's only a couple of nuts & a bent washer, but you'll need an alignment done every time you do. If you plan on keeping it long term (say 50k more miles) I suggest OEM inners.

I put aftermarket ones from Autozone on (was the 555 stamp and all that some people get excited about for $20 each) and were good quality, then my steering rack gave out about 6 months later which includes inner tie rods as part of the assembly. Worked great until then though.

I love how nobody has even batted an eye that we all understood the incredibly cryptic thread title...

Anyways, great advice so far :) .
