LC coil questions

Im looking for a set of 7 wrap coils since i want a 3 inch lift. the question is IF the coils are set should they both have the same markings or are the markings different?

Same markings, but, driver's side coil will be taller.

You will get 3.5 to 4 inch of lift. Lowered bump stops, extended brake line, long travel shocks, and extended sway bar links are recommended.

If you're referring to OEM LC80 coils, the LH coil (longer) will have a different marking from the RH coil since they have different part numbers but you can buy them individually.

If you're referring to aftermarket coils, the coils will be marked accordingly (LH or RH) but will have the same part number.

My brand new OEM LC80 coils, which were part of the Sonoran Steel lift kit, had the same markings and I believe they had the same part numbers too. My OME 861’s had a left & right.

same part numbers = same markings = same length

As mentioned earlier, those coils can be bought individually. Perhaps Steve has a reason for using the same coils for the LH and RH sides.

Same. My 7 wraps had the same color markings and part numbers. I didn't experience any driver's side lean with my SS 1.2 rear lift. But my ARB OEM 861s were marked differently. I thought it was something like A and B.

I never had any lean either and I thought they were great springs that performed excellent and kept up with the weight of all my regular camping gear. I had to go to the 861’s once I got my plate rear bumper carrying a 2nd spare, 2-1/2 gal propane tank & 8 gals of fuel.

Yeah, I should have qualified that statement. I would not have swapped them out had I not added a rear swing out bumper. I really like the ride and feel of the seven wraps as well.

Hmm I wanted about a 3 inch lift would these work fine with tundra 5100?
or should i just go with the 4runner 5100s and LC rear shocks and springs?
