Yes 2. FYI, There is more 2 the assembly then just the bolts. See post #21

Funny that [MENTION=120071]mtbtim[/MENTION] just posted his video, I'm watching it on my laptop as I prepare to do this job on Friday! I'm praying for not-frozen cam adjusters or I'm hosed
Question about torquing the LCA cam bolts back down after reinstalling - do we want to do this with the vehicle weight on the suspension? FWIW I'm installing whiteline bushings.
That's really interesting. I have a clunk, it's really more of a quick bang. Sounds like metal on metal only for a second when I'm turning right & going up hill. I cant figure what out what it is, I'll have to look at my LCA bushings.

That what I figured. This is where having a lift really helpsFor any control arm, you want the weight of the vehicle on the wheels before you start really tightening it down and bringing the bolts up to the torque spec.

Looks like I better hurry up and get those LCA's done for you. Been super busy as you know. Starting to get active again with the rug and other un-finished projects.

Maybe I can use drive-up ramps to allow better leverage when applying final torque (before going for an alignment)

Make sure you grease those bushings well. Take particular care to lube the flat parts that come in contact with the flat washers. This will help prevent binding when you set the torque on the lca bolts. I had this problem I only lubed the inside area where the sleeve slips through, and had to re-lube the flats and let the bushings work themselves in before I got the alignment. The polyurethane bushings (Whiteline) don't flex like the rubber so they must be able to slip in the mount.
If I ever do this again, (I replaced every bushing on the truck) I will go with OEM Rubber bushes. The poly is just to aggressive. It is very tight and responsive, but you feel every pebble and ripple in the pavement.

A Sawzall with Diablo blades makes quick work of frozen cams.
Not without replacement cams and bolts on hand they don't Lol
Diablo will cut if you have replacements or not, Lol. You live in Cali come on,
you don't have rust out there. Monday you'll start a thread on the first page
where this project went off without a hitch!! Just in case I'd get at least one
adjuster.
