LCA alignment cams - Where is the "middle"?

Hi All,

I'm installing the Light Racing UCAs on a lifted 5th Gen this weekend, and would like to get the LCA alignment cams put in the middle of their adjustment range, so the shop can use those adjusters to fine-tune the alignment. I'll rough set the caster/camber with the new UCA adjustments.

I'm not familiar with how exactly those LCA cams work. I know they can adjust both caster and camber, and currently they are set to an extreme from the last alignment I had with the lift, and even then the shop couldn't get the caster near spec, which is why I'm installing the UCAs.

Thought it would make sense to get the cams in the middle of their adjustment range. Does anyone know what that position looks like?

thanks,

Chris

I found it in the manual....go figure! The install was rather straight forward. I set factory adjusters to the middle position, then set the camber using a plumbob and the UCA adjuster, and toe with a long straight edge. It drives better now with the adidtional caster, but I'll take it into a shop to fine tune the alignment settings.
