LDM Black Headlights

JDM* haha i have no idea how i left an 'L' there sorry.

I have no idea whether or not these lights would look good on my Jade Green Runner but I'm curious to what you guys might think about them. They do have the orange reflectors on each corner, so that may be the reason I don't want them.

I had them on my 02, I blacked out the amber corners, light output was alright, not as good as OEM.

do you have a pic of the light output against a wall? I wanted these too but i am skeptical of the output

Be aware that all these lights are simply the factory lights taken apart and painted and then reassembled so quality can be a issue more than not. Toyota never put out these headlamps.

Man, I wish they factory, but they are completely different. The center piece that covers the headlight is much bigger and covers more of the bulb output which changes up the output. I mean they aren't that bad, but if I could go back, I would've blacked out my OEM headlights instead.

I didn't buy the black ones, but got the clear ones instead. Like Fo_Sheezy said light output is decent. I never had the '99+ headlights, but I can imagine the headlights I got are not as good as the factory ones.

Do you have a black grille?

Fo_SheeZy's right, not factory. Poorer light quality. Lower quality all around. I'm thinking of when it comes time for a HID projector upgrade I'll use them for that.

I already took mine one step further... Nightshaded the markers.

LOL Last weekend!!! I put my summer tires and wheels back on. Took it in to be realigned but no need. Just needed rebalanced and that's it. Drives nice and no more shimmy. I did wash it and was going to get pics of it, but it didn't last. One, washing a car in 22* weather isn't fun and two, the first time I drove it it stayed clean for about 30 seconds.... :bash:

I'll get some up as soon as I can! We have a volcano blowing around 45 miles from us across the inlet. I would love to have that in the background...

im happy with the $80 dollars i spent on my 99 up headlights i did try aftermarket ones first and they plan sucked the way the light pattern was horrible
