leaking oil. oil pan gasket?

I seem to have a slow oil leak. I had my valve cover gaskets replaced a year ago and this stopped the leaking that was occuring at the top of the engine. Now I seem to have oil leaking near the bottom of the engine. It is just enough to make it smell like something is burning after I have been driving it, and it losses about half a quarter between 3,000 mile oil changes.

Question: Has any one changed their oil pan gasket and if so, what all is involved?
