A couple months ago I stepped up from my 93 4runner to a 99. It took me a while to find it in a manual, and ended up finding one at a dealership. They mentioned there was a mildew smell to it (because they hadn't detailed the inside yet since I had found it right after they got it) and I asked if they found any leaks and they said no.
Every time it rains heavily, the interior headliner that surrounds the front part of my sunroof gets soaked. I cleared out the draining tubes and thought it fixed the problem, but next big rainfall it happened again.
So I took it back to the dealership, (since they had mentioned the mildew smell) and they told me they would take a look at it and try and fix it. Well...after paying for the ferry ride there (and back), I had no luck...they said they couldnt find anything and that my draining tubes were fine.
As much as I am hoping for it to quit raining... I live and work in Seattle and the weather is getting pretty crappy. Any ideas??
