could be a difference in tire pressure, suspension sagging on one side due to more weight on the left side, but 5/8" isn't too bad. It may be also you're on a slight incline.. but you should level out the road before leveling the vehicle.

I've always noticed tilting vehicles.. but since I don't see my truck being driven.. I can't comment on my own. I should go and try this...

Yeah mine sagged to the left for a long time. The dealer wouldn't fix it cuz they said within 5/8 is manufacturer's specs. Then all the rugged driving through the baja deserts at 65mph sure evened things out. I think it's ok now.

gas tank on the driver side will do wonders to your vehicle.

Update: my vehicle measures slightly different heights at different times; after driving. Today at work it is absolutely level. Yesterday is leaned enough to visually notice. No change in weight in the T4R no re-fueling, just not sure what

I think you're worrying about it a little too much. all vehicles are imbalanced from time to time.

If your suspension was sagging.. you'd notice alot more "leaning"

Lean is pretty consistent across 4th gens

I'm not sure why it happens, but I've seen quite a few of these reports of leaning in several different forums. Mine leans too, though I think it's only a little over 1/4"

The 4Runners all have been reported as leaning to the left, and it happens in many cases even when the fuel tank is empty. It's surprisingly easy to see even small amounts of lean if the vehicle is on a level surface.

I don't think it's a substantial problem or that it has any real consequences, but it's odd nonetheless.

As we all know, the 4Runner is in fact male. Which way it leans is entirely due to which way your 4Runner dresses..

Yea I guess I got upset over nothing. It is surprising that one can actually see this effect. This is my third SUV and it is the only one that has leaned to any side before. Even though it is a small amount of lean, it is still something that I would have not expected from any vehicle. I will get over it now. Thanks for everyone
