Lease Turn-In

So I had my end of lease pre delivery inspection on my 2010 Camry today. There were two things on the report that they contend need to be addressed.

1) Cracked taillight on drivers side. I'm ok with this one and can fix it for $80. 2) scratches on the underneath side of the lip on the front bumper. This one I plan on fighting. The car is in pristine condition other than these two things and the scratch, to me, is well within the normal wear and tear guidelines. The charge is only $126, but my argument is that the rest of the car is perfect and that should offset this small issue.

I guess my question is, have any of you all had experience with negotiating these charges? I do not plan on purchasing another car with them, just gonna drop this one off and leave. Thanks in advance

The underside of the bumper? Sounds like they're just trying to nickel dime you.
Take some really good pics for starters. Then ask them how they're going to spend the 126 fixing it.

I would fight it, but not too hard. Its going to cost more than 126 to pull the bumper off, repair the scratches, and get it painted correctly.

Did you inspect it at dealer or the representative came to your house, because i had cars in worst condition then you are describing and the person usually comes gives quick look over it and then gives me report saying everything is fine, plus he gets 20 bucks in hand. Although last one refused. I remember one lady came in and inspect my mom's car and the bill was like for 600 dollars, i though she was trying to reap me off, so i called and request another inspector to come out and inspect the car, when he did the bill was only 200 with the same problems, which i though it was reasonable and we paid to the factory.
Hope it helps. Good luck!
