Leather seats in a non Limited?

I'm on the search for a 99-2002 but want the smaller non limited body but I want leather. Will the limited seats fit in the non-limited? I'd get a limited if I could get the chrome bumpers on it. thanks!

My '02 SR5 has factory leather sport seats. So it's not a limited but it has
leather on a firmer seat. I would say yes.

If you can fit them (sorry, I can't say, but I believe so), maybe we can work something-out.

I should be purchasing a limited pretty soon. I want cloth in it though. The one I might get has pretty good leather seats, even the driver side...

Yes the seats are interchangeable. I friend of mine installed leather seats into his 96 4-cylinder 4runner. You will, however, have to run 12V to move the seats.

Yes, you can. I have limited seats from an 02 that is powered and heated. It bolts right in. I wired up the powered portion. Haven't done the heated portion but thats due to lack of time. It went into my 97. I am sure because I did it.

Yes, aside from seat color and material. They all bolt in. Wiring is different for the powered but its not hard to wire in.

They'll work just fine! Some 4runners came with the same leather but not heated or power and of course there are the sport leather seats.

They fit great on my limited's leather seats.

What gave you the impression that the Limited has a bigger body?

Structurally, all third gens have virtually the same "bones". The only thing that makes the Limited "bigger" is the body cladding/flares, but that's like saying one guy is bigger than another just because he wears baggy pants.

The '99-'02 have a bigger front bumper than the '96-'98, but that's across all trim levels.

I tried to add leather to my 2002 SR5 that came out of a 1997 Limited. While the power is relatively easy, the reason i didn't keep them was the airbag sensor. If you have a 01+ then maybe check a 01+ sport or limited with a leather. Otherwise it should be relatively simple.
