Leather seats looking bad

I have an 04 4Runner with a bunch of miles (over 250k) so my drivers side, leather seat is looking pretty bad. I've seen some OEM leather seat covers on ebay and I'm thinking of buying them. Anyone replaced their front, leather seat covers with new ones? I'm guessing this is a pain? Please advise...Thanks!

Im not sure if you have side air bags or not, but obviously you would have to disconnect the battery to remove the seat, in order to avoid any issue with said air bag, if you have a power seat thats more connectors, manual have less.. just remove the seat from the vehicle place it on a bench and remove the plastic trim on the bottom. Keep in mind you will be needing hog rings and hog ring pliers with a set of side cutters to remove old hog rings. are your seats heated? that might want to be replaced at the same time. (sorry for the weird response im just going back to my tech days replacing seat covers on toyota/scion/lexus vehicles.)

its not a pain at all. super easy. my 3rd gen came with cloth and my girl (then) and i bought a leather kit and changed it all out ourselves. doors on the other hand..are a pain. seats easy. bunch of little clips and take it off. reverse for putting it back on. took us maybe 4hours?
im going to do that soon here with my drivers seat too since has a rip in it.
