Leaving the Oil Pan Guards Off

Is there any reason the guarding could not be left off if I am not offroading?
It is such a pain to pull it off to change the oil. Here in Indiana I don't do off roading. I go to Nevada once a year to visit my son for sevreral weeks and I can just put the shields back on. The only question I have is the removal of the plastic wind tunnel blowing up to the oil pan.

If by oil pan guard, you mean the skid plates, then leaving them off will not harm anything.

Well... He did say he would leave them off until he goes off the road... So yeah, leaving them off in the mean time will not harm anything.
